The arc window is a non-standard product designed and manufactured to individual order. The arc window’s flexture corresponds to the roof arc’s radius.The arc window fits perfectly into the roof’s slope, creating original and modern architecture.

The arc window is a special structure with arc frame, sash and glazing unit. The steel, covering profiles are also adjusted to the window’s shape. It is a pivot type window with a handle situated on the lower part of the sash. The design and production of such a window, requires innovative solutions and a high level of technological advancement.

The Fakro conservation window is designed for old, historic and stylized buildings. Its characteristic feature is the sash bar down the middle of the window, and black (similar to RAL 9005) metal covering on the window and flashing, which matches traditional buildings. Use the Fakro sash bar window, to retain the unique historic character of the building from the outside, whilst creating a comfortable and modern interior. Conservation windows have all the advantages of Fakro roof windows. The conservation window is available in a range of versions, centre pivot, top hung and pivot, and emergency escape.

Fakro windows can be manufactured in any shape required. The glazing combination consists of a toughened glass outer pane, and a low emission coating on the inner pane, 4H–16–4HT. These types of window are all non-openable.

When ordering non-standard windows, please indicate the roof pitch and type of roof covering. A drawing of the window will be needed, with all dimensions and internal angles. Any order should also indicate whether the window is to be installed on its own or in combination with other windows.

 

To suit specific customer needs, the metal used for the outer covering of the window or flashing can be of copper CU or titanium zinc TC, as well as standard aluminium.
