flashing with additional thermal insulation EHT

Description

EHT flashing is ideal for avoiding thermal bridging when installing windows (at depth N e.g. in areas of high snowfall). This flashing includes built-in insulation material for high thermal efficiency. It provides a neat fit between window and all types of roof covering up to 90 mm thick, in particular roof tiles and deeply profiled sheeting.

It is normally used to install single windows in the slope of the roof, but also comes in modules for linking windows.

The standard distance between linked windows is 15 cm.
Can be used on roofs with pitches between 15° and 90°.

Constituents of the flashing:

The flashing is made up of four basic elements, each profiled with insulation material.
The lower element has an adhesive backed PVC fillet stuck to the underside. This allows the flashing to be adhered to the roof covering for a perfect fit. It is equipped with a weep flap to allow condensation to drain away from the window, as well as side sealing channels to protect against wind blown dust, leaves, rain and snow.

Flashing elements:

  1. bottom part of the flashing with insulation and plastic apron
  2. side parts with insulation
  3. aluminum strips to fixtheflashing
  4. top part of the flashings with insulation
  5. gutter
  6. sponge seals
