Due to the tightness of joinery used in modern construction, there may appear problems with correct ventilation, leading to condensation appearing in the room. In order to limit this phenomenon, FAKRO roof windows use different types of air inlets.
An automatic air inlet V40P with a capacity of up to 52m3/h (value achieved without the filter in the profile, with the filter up to 40m3/h at the pressure difference of 10Pa, depending on the width of the window), by automatically adjusting the size of the flow channel, allows the optimum amount of air into the room, providing a healthy climate in the loft and energy savings.

The automatic air inlet V40P* guarantees energy savings and ensures watertightness of 600 Pa with closed as well as open air inlet. Air inlets in other windows guarantee watertightness of 250 Pa when open.
