FAKRO at Danish trade fair – BYGGERI’18

FAKRO, the vice-leader in the global market of roof windows presented its top products during the 18th edition of BYGGERI’18. The Danish trade fair took place between 13-16 March, 2018 in Fredericia. Innovative solutions such as the range of flat roof windows, including the walkable DXW window and the multicolour design of DEF ColourLine attracted a significant interest.

BYGGERI, over the years, has positioned itself as Scandinavia’s leading trade fair for construction products. The exhibition was attended by thousands of qualified professionals from all over Denmark as well as the rest of the Nordic region and Northern Europe.

FAKRO presented top products dedicated to steep roofs in white colour, such as top hung and pivot window FPU-V P2 preSelect and FTU-V Z-Wave, the electric window with high moisture resistance. Moreover, in accordance with current architectural trends featuring large glazed areas, FAKRO presented the FGH-V Galeria balcony window and the FDY-V Duet proSky in white colour. The glazing effect is extraordinary.

Visitors were deeply interested in the entire range of flat roof windows and their innovative designs. Guests were enthusiastic about the DEF electric flat roof window featuring modern design which was acknowledged with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2016. FAKRO also presented the type G PLUS windows, which use window structure D_G expanding the function of the glass section to ensure the fall of the outer surface of the window enabling water drainage even when the window is perfectly horizontal. The great interest of the visitors was focused on the DXW flat roof window which allows the user to walk across its surface. The walkable DXW DW6 flat roof window won the bronze Architects' Darling Awards 2017 in the category “Best product-innovation in the category of building-shell”.

Additionally, FAKRO presented the wide range of loft ladders such as metal LMK Komfort, wooden folding highly insulated - LWT, the LSF fire-resistant. The great attention was caught by MSP multicolour miller staircase, in which each tread was in a different colour.
