FAKRO among the best Polish exporters to France

The ceremony of awarding prizes for the best Polish exporters to France took place on 26 September 2017 at the Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Paris. FAKRO, the second largest manufacturer of roof windows and loft ladders in the world is in the prestigious group of four winners.

“FAKRO products can be found in over 50 countries around the globe. We are present wherever there is a demand for such products, and export sales account for 70% of the total sales”, explains Paweł Szewczyk, Market Manager responsible for Western Europe at FAKRO. “One of 16 distribution companies belonging to the FAKRO Group has been established in France in 2002, he ads.

The aim of the competition organized by the Trade and Investment Promotion Sector of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Paris is to distinguish leaders of the Polish export to France, as well as to draw attention of the French economic circles to high quality and competitiveness of the Polish offer. Awards are given since 2004. Winners are chosen based on analysis of the size and dynamics of their export and investment commitment in France.

“Long-standing experience has led FAKRO to a stable position in the global market, providing customers with a sense of security and satisfaction with the purchase they made. We are delighted that our hard work is appreciated, Jan Chronowski, FAKRO France Director expressed his thanks when receiving the award.

Jan Chronowski and Paweł Szewczyk represented FAKRO during the awards ceremony. Winners of the award for the best Polish exporters are also: AMICA S.A. – manufacturer of household appliances; CRIST S.A. – shipbuilding company and AGRAIMPEX sp. z o.o. – manufacturer of agricultural and food products.

Winners received commemorative statuettes engraved with a dedication and certificate of appreciation signed by the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Finance and Development and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Awards were granted by Tomasz Młynarski, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Paris and Katarzyna Kuza, Manager of the Trade and Investment Promotion Sector in Paris.
