The Ecobuild trade show in London is another exhibition event of the construction sector, where FAKRO presented their products. The exhibition occupying the area of over 90m² consisted of FYP-V proSky window with raised axis of rotation, FGH-V P2 Galeria balcony window, FTT Thermo window, Electro Z-wave window operated by smartphone and most popular loft ladders from FAKRO product range.

This time, FAKRO innovative roof window gained the highest recognition of the consumers themselves. They recognized window as the best building product of 2012.

Fakro Company has hosted American TV journalist Rita Cosby, who became well known in Poland for the publication of the book titled “Quiet Hero: Secrets From My Father's Past”. Book tells the story of her father. Several years later she discovers, that having Polish roots Richard Cosby is in fact Ryszard Kossobudzki, soldier of the Polish Home Army (AK) and participant of the Warsaw Uprising, who had emigrated to America.

Once a year, Brussels becomes the biggest international showroom presenting achievements concerning technology area and building materials. Fair exhibition space is located in twelve halls with the total area of more than 60 thousand square meters.

Recognized throughout the European Union, the Certificate of Authorized Economic Operator is to increase the security of trade with partners outside the European Union. Slovaks, Poles and Frenchmen turned out to be the winners of the 2nd IFD FAKRO Ski World Cup. FAKRO company – number two worldwide on the roof window market, for the next time, was the organizer of the competition. Almost 40 amateur skiers, from seven European countries, representatives of the International Federation for the Roofing Trade IFD, competed on the slopes of picturesquely set Jaworzyna Krynicka in the Beskidy mountain range.
