Świebodzin, a small town renowned for its inspiring art and architectural solutions, has gained a new landmark: an expanded forest district building that is already capturing the attention of residents and visitors with its design and functionality. Wood, a material particularly valued by the building’s users, plays a central role.
The property boasts a unique design, with the open parking area cleverly positioned beneath the harmoniously designed building structure – an element that immediately sets it apart. At the heart of the property are the installed FAKRO INNOVEW vertical windows, the result of advanced technology combining aluminium profiles with natural wood. The external aluminium cladding provides effective protection of the wooden profiles from harsh weather, while ensuring durability under extreme conditions. Inside, the use of natural wood not only highlights longevity but also creates a warm, cosy atmosphere that complements the setting and reflects the nature of the foresters’ work.
The aluminium cladding is particularly noteworthy, finished with an AD-06-MAT wood-like texture that mimics natural wood grain. This gives the windows a distinctive character within the building’s structure. A similarly unique treatment has been applied inside: the pine has been coated in an azure-brown finish, highlighting the interior’s individual character.
The extension of the Forest District building was designed with high energy efficiency in mind, particularly important given its role as an administrative hub and meeting place. The installed windows feature special glazing units that minimise heat loss, enhancing the building’s thermal insulation.
Acoustics are also essential in this type of building. FAKRO vertical windows are equipped with a special double soundproofing film that minimises noise penetration, ensuring quiet rooms that are conducive to work and concentration – key for user comfort.

The conference room features striking glazing that not only visually enlarges the space but also adds an exclusive dimension. Light plays a key role here: the large window areas flood the interior with natural sunlight, subtly illuminating it and creating a bright, inviting atmosphere.
The new Forest District building in Świebodzin has become both a modern workplace for foresters and a symbol of development in harmony with nature. By applying innovative solutions – such as combining aluminium profiles with natural wood and using advanced glazing systems – the building demonstrates how architecture can blend seamlessly with its surroundings while meeting the demands of contemporary administration.
