The two-day Smart Factory World conference combined inspiration with practice and demonstrated that a modern factory is a place where technology supports people. The first day of the event took place in Katowice, and the second at the FAKRO headquarters in Nowy Sącz, where participants had the opportunity to meet CEO Ryszard Florek and tour the production facility.
The first part of the conference in Katowice was opened by Wojciech Klimek, Management Board Member for Production at FAKRO, who gave a presentation entitled “The transformation of production management tools in the era of customisation, automation and digitalisation.”
“Our goal is to create solutions that truly support everyday production and allow us to respond effectively to market challenges. Only through flexible and well-integrated processes can we grow in line with customer expectations and the changing business environment. It is this practical approach and the ability to combine different perspectives that determine competitive advantage today,” emphasised by Wojciech Klimek.
The second day of the event was an opportunity to see firsthand how theory turned into practice. At the FAKRO headquarters, participants were welcomed by Ryszard Florek, President of the Management Board of FAKRO, who presented the company's strategic approach to innovation and global challenges. Guests also had the chance to visit the production facility and see how modern technologies support everyday processes.
The Smart Factory World conference proved that the future of industry is not based solely on technological innovation, but on the intelligent combination of technology and people, who remain at the centre of all change.
The event took place on 30 September – 1 October 2025 in Katowice and Nowy Sącz.
