FAKRO was among the winners of this year's "Investor Without Borders" award, along with InPost Group, PRESS GLASS Holding SA, Sanok Rubber Company S.A., Bosch in Poland, MSD, and Track Tec SA. These prestigious titles were awarded during the 16th edition of the European Economic Congress in Katowice. The award was accepted on behalf of FAKRO by Janusz Komurkiewicz, Member of the Management Board for Marketing.
The aim of the competition is to promote partnership and transparent relationships between the market, investors, and administration. The competition recognizes collaboration based on trust and responsibility, which supports the effective implementation of investment strategies.
The title of Investor Without Borders was awarded to the most efficient Polish investors operating internationally, as well as foreign entities investing in Poland. Both groups operate in conditions characterized by instability and unpredictable market dynamics. Additionally, they must contend with the consequences of the pandemic, the conflict in Ukraine, and numerous crises such as climate change, inflation, demand fluctuations, high energy and construction material prices, and regulatory pressures.
"We are pleased that FAKRO's efforts have been recognized and appreciated. We are active in war-torn Ukraine, which we will support in the rebuilding process. We are present in the USA, increasing our production capacities and market share. We strive to achieve a strong and established position as a National Brand, renowned and respected in the country. Our goal is to become a globally recognized company that Poles can be proud of," commented Janusz Komurkiewicz, Member of the Management.
The European Economic Congress took place from May 7-9, 2024, at the International Congress Center in Katowice. The Congress has been organized by the PTWP Group since its first edition in 2009.
