"The competitiveness of the European economy as a security issue"

On 16 October, Paweł Dziekoński represented the company in three important discussion panels. The first of them, ”The competitiveness of the European economy as a security issue”, was organised by the Lewiatan Confederation as part of the Safe Europe track. The discussion focused on growing global economic competition as well as the importance of deregulation and a common economic policy for maintaining Europe's position in the global market. The panellists included representatives of institutions such as the OECD, PGE and Polish Airports. The discussion itself showed how important active and responsible business is in shaping the future of the continent.

"Investments of Polish companies in the United Kingdom"

Another event was a meeting devoted to investments by Polish companies in the United Kingdom, entitled ”Investments of Polish companies in the United Kingdom”, co-organised by the British Embassy in Warsaw, National Development Bank and Money.pl. A report on the expansion of Polish companies into the UK market was presented and the prospects for further economic cooperation between Poland and the United Kingdom were discussed. Paweł Dziekoński shared FAKRO's practical experiences, showing how strategic foreign investments strengthen the company's position on the global stage.

“Leadership in the age of artificial intelligence”

The third point of FAKRO's presence at EFNI was the panel ”Leadership in the age of artificial intelligence”, moderated by Prof. Piotr Wachowiak, Rector of the Warsaw School of Economics. Dominika Bettman from Santander Bank Polska, alongside Paweł Dziekoński, participated in the discussion. The conversation focused on how the dynamic development of artificial intelligence is redefining the role of leaders in organisations. Issues related to data-driven decision-making, building a culture of trust in the era of automation and the competencies of future managers were discussed.

The conclusions from this year's debates are clear. The competitiveness of the European economy is now not only an economic issue, but also a strategic foundation for the security of the entire continent. Maintaining a strong position requires reducing energy and labour costs, efficient deregulation and the wise use of new technologies, including artificial intelligence. Companies such as FAKRO show that a combination of innovation, responsible leadership and a global perspective can be a real driving force behind Europe's development in the coming decade.

The European Forum for New Ideas took place in Sopot from 15 to 17 October.
