During the BouwBeurs, from 4 to 8 February, FAKRO presented the newest innovations on durable daylight solutions. At the same time, FAKRO hosted CONNECT, a network event where FAKRO presented a whole new concept ‘Life Cycle Service’ to housing corporations.
FAKRO Netherlands presented their newest solutions at the Building Fair in Utrecht, such as a new preSelect2 top hung and pivot window with the sash opened to 45°, flat roof windows, the innovative FGH-V Galeria balcony window and the new INNOVIEW products.
Because the new INNOVIEW product is so different than FAKRO’s standard windows for pitched and flat roofs, they attracted a lot of attention on the Building Fair. Many people entered the stand to look at the electric sliding door and to experience this new product. We used the interest and information from the visitors to look for a few interesting pilot projects to introduce INNOVIEW into the Dutch market.
During the Building Fair, FAKRO also hosted a network event at Villa Jongerius, an iconic and historic location situated directly next to the Building Fair in Utrecht.
FAKRO, together with partner Renda, welcomed many housing corporations with several presentations and the introduction of the concept Life Cycle Service. During an interview Bart Peters, Commercial Director at FAKRO Netherlands, talked about this new concept: “The main idea of this new concept is to relieve housing corporations of all aspects surrounding a FAKRO roof window. From the delivery and installation of the products to recycling and maintaining the quality of the products. When this product is at the end of its life, FAKRO will recycle the product and install a new window, which completes the life cycle.”
