2 November 2015 – this date is very important for the entire construction industry around the world. This is the day when the largest European construction show begins - Batimat 2015. This event organized every two years attracts over 3,000 exhibitors and about 400,000 visitors from all over the world.
FAKRO, the second biggest manufacturer of roof windows and loft ladders in the world could not miss such an event. Exhibition stand spread over the area of 200m2 and presented company's top solutions such as the FGH-V Galeria balcony roof window and the FTT U8 Thermo energy-efficient roof window featuring U=0.58W/m2K. Other products demonstrated during the trade show include awning blinds for roof and vertical windows powered by the solar energy in which the solar panel is equipped with the insolation sensor allowing for an automatic unrolling and rolling up of the awning blind depending on the insolation level.
The exhibition stand also features roof windows and roller shutters providing protection against sun which can by operated via Bluetooth as well as with the use of the Internet from anywhere in the world by means of mobile devices.
The leading theme of FAKRO stand are flat roof windows. The entire range of these products has been presented, including the DEF Solar window powered by the solar energy and the DRC access roof lights, whereas innovative DSF smoke ventilation flat roof window has been presented for the first time. The greatest interest of the visitors has been attracted by the DXW flat roof window which with a special design and anti-slip coating ensures you can walk across its surface freely when installed in terraces and roofs. Thanks to the fact that the surface of the DXW window is in flush with the roof covering material, windows not only create a safe space in the terrace which can be used, but also do not spoil its aesthetics. The DXW window has been appreciated by the Jury of Innovation Awards competition held during Batimat 2015 which selected FAKRO product for the final stage of the contest.
To prove the safety of the DXW flat roof windows, a bicyclist not only rides across their surface, but also does acrobatics on these windows as well as jumps from a height of over 150cm.
We invite all guests who are in Paris between 2-6 November 2015 to visit FAKRO stand No M82 in pavilion 5a.
