From the roof to the podium – FAKRO supports Robert Bober

FAKRO is proud to support representatives of the roofing community who transfer their passion and determination to other areas of life. One such example is Robert Bober – a roofer and athlete who achieved spectacular success at the European Masters Athletics Championships.

Robert Bober, competing in the javelin throw in the M40 category, won the silver medal, finishing just behind the winner – the difference was only 27 centimetres.

Robert Bober's story is an inspiring example of how roofing professionals can reach great heights — not only on the roof, but also on the sports podium. It is worth remembering that one of Poland's most famous sportsmen, Adam Małysz, also started in the same industry. This shows that the passion and character built up in everyday work can also become the foundation for spectacular achievements in other areas of life.
