IFD representatives' visit at FAKRO headquarters

On June 6-7, the headquarters of FAKRO hosted a visit from representatives of the International Federation for the Roofing Trade (IFD). Among the guests were Greame Millar, President of the IFD, as well as representatives from Germany, the Netherlands, England, Switzerland, Latvia, Hungary, Denmark, Scotland, and Poland.

During the visit, the guests discussed global trends in construction, the future of the organization, directives and structures, sustainable development in the industry, and many other topics. In addition to discussions and panels, the guests had the opportunity to tour the FAKRO company, learn about the latest products from the Greenview and Greenstep lines, and see the operation of the most modern production lines.

The collaboration between FAKRO and the IFD has been ongoing for 20 years, providing a space for joint activities, including training roofers on the latest trends and solutions. „The visit of the IFD representatives was a unique opportunity for us to exchange experiences and ideas with experts from the roofing industry worldwide. This meeting allowed us to showcase our innovative solutions and discuss the future of sustainable construction. We believe that such collaborations contribute to the continuous raising of standards in the industry and support the development of modern technologies,” said Sabina Sujew, Market Manager for the Benelux countries and chair of the IFD Marketing Working Group.
