Installation that starts with hands-on practice

Installation that starts with hands-on practice

Roofers recently took part in a practical FAKRO training session. Participants worked with real products at dedicated training stations, learning solutions that help ensure the correct connection between a roof window and the roof structure and support the efficient completion of each stage of installation.

Hands-on work with the product

Under the guidance of instructors, participants practised installing roof windows, flashings and selected accessories. The training allowed them to follow the entire process rather than simply observe the finished result.

Key elements of the practical training

Roof window installation

Preparing the work area, positioning the product correctly and checking each stage of the installation carried out at the training station.

Flashings and accessories

Principles of connecting the window to the roof structure and the role of components that influence the correct completion of the entire installation.

Errors and challenging cases

Analysis of the causes of installation errors, their possible consequences and the appropriate course of action in unusual on-site situations.

From the basics to specialist topics

The programme is adapted to the group’s level of experience. Basic training usually covers the most commonly selected windows and accessories, while specialist sessions may focus on knee-wall and roof balcony windows, other special products and the programming of automation systems.

Training outcomes

Less uncertainty on site, better control over installation quality and skills developed through hands-on practice.
