Paweł Dziekoński, Vice President of FAKRO, took part in the plenary panel session ‘Doing Business during a full-scale war. Experiences of Polish investors and managers’ and ‘Ukrainian construction market – threats, opportunities and challenges for Polish contractors and manufacturers’, which took place as part of the 3rd Common Future Congress on Cooperation with Ukraine.
It was an opportunity to learn about the practical experiences of Polish companies investing in Ukraine, despite the challenges posed by the war.
During the congress debates, we had an occasion to share our experiences. The war has shown that business must be resilient and flexible. In Ukraine, FAKRO operates on a limited scale, but we are not withdrawing from the market, which we have been building for years and which is important to us. At the same time, we are developing new directions, including in the USA and Western Europe. We combine determination with loyalty to our partners and corporate responsibility with the need to seek growth opportunities in unfavourable conditions.
The third edition of the Common Future Congress on Cooperation with Ukraine has long served as a key platform for dialogue and exchange of experiences between Poland and Ukraine. This year's edition included nearly 30 debates in four thematic blocks: Business and Investment, Regions and Local Communities, Europe and Integration, and Society and Cooperation, attracting nearly 1,000 participants.
The Common Future Congress on Cooperation with Ukraine was held in Poznań on September 22-23.
