PROFI and LUX class roof windows are made using thermoPro technology. The solutions applied are designed to improve selected performance characteristics of roof windows, including energy efficiency, durability, tightness and ease of installation. FAKRO thermoPro technology:
IMPROVED THERMAL INSULATION OF THE WINDOW
Windows manufactured in thermoPro technology are designed to improve the thermal insulation performance of the window through the use of insulation inserts in the sash and a low-emissivity glass coating.
INCREASED DURABILITY OF THE WOOD
The bottom corners of the frame are equipped with a special water drainage channels to discharge water from the condensation and potential leakage caused by, e.g. damage or dirt on seals. Wooden profiles of the window are less exposed to the moisture, which adds to their durability.
GREATED TIGHTNESS OF THE WINDOW
Selected windows manufactured using thermoPro technology achieve air permeability classes 3 or 4 in accordance with EN 12207, depending on the model and configuration. This may help reduce uncontrolled air infiltration into the room and can support the performance of mechanical ventilation systems.
EASIER INSTALLATION
New brackets enhance the ability to adjust roof windows and make the installation process quicker. In addition, the use of Torx screws facilitates the installation of windows in the roof surface.
