Flush-mounted VMU awning blinds

Flush-mounted VMU awning blinds are designed for vertical windows and intended primarily for new buildings. Most of the structural elements of the awning blind can be hidden under the façade of the building, providing an aesthetic solution and not affecting its visual side. Once the fabric is rolled up, the product is practically invisible. The awning guide rails can be made in the colour matching windows so that they do not spoil the aesthetics of the building.

The Solar type awning blind can be controlled in one of three modes:

  • Automatic (self-activating unrolling and rolling-up dependent on the level of insolation).
  • Semi-automatic (self-activating unrolling, rolling-up via a remote control).
  • Operation via a remote control (no remote control included).

The awning blind comes in the following versions:

  • VMU Z-Wave – powered by 15VDC mains supply and operated by means of a remote control or wall switch in the wireless Z-Wave system. It is compatible with FAKRO electric products equipped with the Z-Wave system. For example, the  FTP-V Electro Z-Wave window or ARF Z-Wave blackout blind. In special cases, the awning blind can be controlled by means of a service button. A 15VDC power supply unit is required to power the awning.
  • VMU Solar – powered by solar battery pack and operated by means of a remote control. It can be controlled in one of three modes: automatic (self-activating rolling up and unrolling dependent on the level of insolation), semi-automatic (self-activating unrolling, rolling-up via a remote control), via a remote control (purchased separately). The Solar awning blind is powered by a 15VDC battery pack which is built into the cassette and recharged by the solar panel.
  • VMU WiFi – operated by means of a smartphone app. The awning blind can be connected to 15V. Power supply unit is required.
  • VMU Electro 230 – powered by mains supply and operated by means of a wall switch (it must be purchased separately). No power supply is required for the blind – the blind can be connected to 230V mains supply.

The Solar type awning blinds should be fitted in places with the solar panel positioned to direct sun exposure. It is recommended to install awnings on south, east and west-facing roofs. Installation in the north side may result in battery discharge and the inability to operate the blind. To ensure correct operation of the automatic mode, the solar panel must be exposed to direct sunlight throughout the active operation mode.

* In awning blinds with a 089 fabric, where the width exceeds 2100 mm and height 1950 mm, the fabric consists of two parts and is joined in the middle of the awning (horizontal welded connection).

* In awning blinds with a fabric featuring 1% relative open area, where the width exceeds 2400 mm and height 2350 mm, the fabric consists of two parts and is joined in the middle of the awning (horizontal welded connection).

 

Colours of VMU blackout blinds - price group 4%

*For a 4% relative open area in the case of larger sizes, awning blinds are equipped with the fabric consisting of two parts joined in the middle (horizontal welded connection). For samples 710 – 716, for dimensions close to the maximum size, the fabric can consist of three parts.
