Mounted on the outside of the window and made of durable technical fabric, it absorbs heat and emits it outside, successfully reducing the temperature rise in the room.

The AMZ manual awning blind is a reliable sunshade designed for roof windows installed within easy reach. It is operated using a standard 80 cm long rod (a 150 cm long ZSZ rod can be purchased separately), allowing for easy and quick adjustment of the fabric position without the need for electrical power supply.

This electronic-free solution operates independently of the building's electrical system and is designed for straightforward use. It allows users to adjust light ingress and solar heat gain according to their preferences. When rolled up, the awning blind is designed to minimise obstruction of the glazing area, helping to maintain access to natural daylight.

The electric AMZ awning blind is a convenience you’ll appreciate every day. Using a remote control, wall switch or mobile app, you can quickly roll up or down the cover without having to open the window or get up from your sofa. It is the perfect solution for roof windows, especially those that are difficult to access, where every movement counts.

The awning blind can be integrated with a Smart Home system, enabling automated operation based on predefined settings and compatible sensors. A solar-powered version is also available, using energy generated by an integrated photovoltaic panel. The built-in solar panel and rechargeable battery reduce the need for a mains power connection. The blind is designed for straightforward operation with minimal user intervention under normal conditions.

The awning structure is based on an aluminium cassette and a fabric rolled up on a spring-loaded shaft with motor. The fabric is stabilised in guide rails with a zip tape, withstanding wind gusts of up to 120 km/h, and side wind speed of up to 220 km/h.

Solar awning blinds should be fitted on south, east and west-facing roofs where their solar panel is positioned directly to sun exposure. Installation in the north side may result in battery discharge and the inability to operate the awning blind.

IMPORTANT! REQUIRED PROTECTION AGAINST SNOW/ICE SLIDING

The installation of an external accessory requires the use of snow guards above the roof window. Failure to install these safety devices may result in:

• damage to the product or its breakage
• limitations on its functionalit
• threats to user safety

The absence of snow guards excludes the manufacturer's liability under the warranty and statutory warranty.

AMZ Komfort awning blinds come in two groups:

• I group - available in two colours (fabric with 10% relative open area)
• II group - available in one colour (fabric with 1% relative open area)
